Packed For Our Journey, Provided and Planned for by Our Heavenly Father

God equips us to rescue others through prayer and with His spiritual gifts, given to us as we need them.

We are equipped, we are planned for, provided for, anticipated.

None of us are excluded from God’s plans, none of us are a mistake.

We are included in His Plan of Salvation, as longed and planned for sons and daughters, included in His plan to bring all the families of the earth to Him (Genesis 12.3).

He has prepared for us, prepared a place for us – we are to be seated in the Heavenly Realms with Him.

We are provided with His Promises.

As parents anticipate, prepare and make a place for the birth of their baby, He has provided for us.

As a bride prepares a trousseau for her wedding day, as she enters her new home, so God has provided us with spiritual food, clothing and provisions.

As parents send their children off to school with a packed school bag, so God has packed everything we need for life and godliness into the Bible.

Surely goodness and mercy will follow me all the days of my life and I will dwell in the House of the Lord forever.

We have the assurance that we can be with Him forever and not be cast out.

In Psalm 23 we find that the Lord is our Shepherd and that we shall not be in want.

We shall find everything we need in Him.

In Genesis 22 we find Yehovah Yireh as our provider.

In Philippians we find that God supplies all our needs, we find these needs met through His Word.

We have been given the keys to the Kingdom, to access everything we need.

We can be equipped with everything we need through His Word.

We have been given access to the throne of grace.

In this blog we will begin to discover how every name of God, shows us a new part of His character and how God provides for us.

Jesus is the Word of Life, our Great High Priest who has made provision for us in every way.

The Shepherd – El Raah, leads us gently.

The Faithful Son is a good steward over His household.

The Healer, heals us, the Saviour saves.

Shalom gives us peace and comfort.

Faithful and True, He can be trusted,

We can come to Him in confidence.

He is our Righteousness, our Rest,

The Lord of Hosts, our Adonai,

Our portion and our Inheritance, our very Great Reward.

You are the Way, the Truth and the Life,

Your Living Water refreshes and restores our souls,

You are with us when we walk through valleys.

You are our Well of Life.
