Poetry

Shortly after I became a Christian, I started receiving a flow poems of worship to God, which I wrote down, sometimes they came as songs and other times as poems.

This went on for about two to three years.

I also often had dreams, some of which came true. I was falling in love with Jesus and his Kingdom and everything else flowed out of this.

Washed

Washed in water,

Cleansed by Your blood,

Covered by Your grace!

We worship You,

A rising tower of praise

Blazes around us;

Consumed by Your power and grace,

A living sacrifice we’d be!

A tower of love,

A tower of praise,

Blazing, consumed by Your love.

Lord, pour the fire as we stand And worship You!

Zion

This Zion I have seen

And for it I would die;

The Lamb of God, our King,

Walks through His pure, unblemished Bride.

No trace of sin, or spot can there be found,

And faithfulness and glorious love abound.

Fed on the Spirit’s grace and by the Father’s heart,

We stand and wait, His wisdom to impart.

With holy awe, we’ll ever bow the knee,

To praise our God, our Jesus, Lord, Who’s risen gloriously!
