Back in February 1995 I had a dream that I was going on a journey with some people from the church.
After getting saved in 1994, I started having quite a few of what I would call “spiritual” dreams, some of which, to my amazement uncannily came true.
But God does say that He will speak to His children in dreams and visions and I found this to be true.
Discernment is always needed when you have a “spiritual” dream, where you feel that God is speaking to you, or showing you something, and definitely not every dream is from the Lord, but at other times He has definitely spoken to me to direct me or give me wisdom or warnings and seen some of these things come to pass quite dramatically.
I find it helpful to share dreams with my husband, or sometimes even at church.
I did this with the first dream I ever had, a couple of months after I became a Christian, as it was quite emotional and I didn’t understand it, but two days later, it came true, just as I had experienced it in the dream and it was a warning to pray.
I was actually shaken that it came to pass so dramatically.
In the dream I am sharing today, I got on a bus with several people from church and came to a city, where we had instructions to a synagogue.
The first time we looked we couldn’t find it and so we slept the night somewhere nice.
The next day, we looked again and found it.
We went in, the men to the men’s part and the women to the women’s.
The people there were singing from the Hebrew scriptures, which I didn’t understand, but we joined in and sang in tongues.
We were praising the Lord.
The people there tried to persuade us that Jesus was not the Messiah and that we had been fooled.
Afterwards we were saying goodbye to the Rabbi, and each of us shook his hand.
When it came to me, he embraced me, praying over me in Hebrew and I spoke in tongues.
He said that Jesus was not God and I disagreed and entreated him saying, “You don’t understand, Jesus is your Messiah! Jesus is your Messiah!”
A couple of months later, we had a big marquee meeting at church and at the testimony time, a young man came up to testify.
He was a young Jewish man, and he said to everyone there, “Jesus is the Messiah!”
I saw this as a fulfillment of the dream I had.
Thanks for sharing.
