One day Dave was praying and asked God if he is really the only way to be saved and maybe there was an easier way?
Then God told Dave to go to an Indian restaurant, which he told me, but I said that I fancied Chinese.
When we went to the Indian restaurant, a Hindu waiter comes up to take our order and asks us if we pray.
He tells us that he believes in God and has studied with various religions, including the Jehovah’s witnesses and he believes that the world is like a dome. When we pray, we pray into the atmosphere, into the dome and our prayers go up and travel to wherever they are needed.
Dave thanks God and thinks this is an answer to prayer!
God, thank you that I don’t need to do all this difficult stuff!
Next thing he knows he is washing up and looking out of the window and God shows him a man falling down a pit.
This is the way of Adam, the Fallen man.
There really is only one way to be saved, Jesus.
It’s so important to stay on the right track and keep our eyes fixed on Jesus, because He is the Way, the only way to life.
He is the truth that we should be focused and grounded on, lest our feet should wander onto other paths and we find ourselves on the slippery slopes of deception. Remember, He is the truth, His Word is truth and we find our answers in Him and in His Word.
