Elohe Israel – The God of Israel

The God of Israel who exceeds your greatest dreams and expectations.

He is a firm foundation.

In Ezekiel 16

In this chapter God takes hold of Israel and she goes from being a child to bride, later in the chapter God records her descent into unfaithfulness.

In verse 60-63 He reiterates His deep covenant relationship with her.

God is always the God of Israel.

Psalm 72.18-19

Thank Yehovah (Messiah pre-Incarnate) Elohim (the Living Word, the Many Powered), the Elohim (the Living Word, the Many Powered) of Israel,
 who alone does miracles.

He is the God of wonders who alone does miracles.

He is the God who is able to do above what we ask or think.

He does the maximum, not the minimum, scraping by to meet the basic requirements, but lavish in His generosity.

He does not think in limited terms, He gives us His best; He gave us His Son, His best.

He is not stingy, but generous, He gives us what we can’t afford, abundantly more than we can ask or think.

We could never purchase or pay for our own salvation, but He can, through His blood.

1 Samuel 1.1-28, 1 Samuel 2. 1-11

Hannah believes in the God of Israel, and has faith in Him.

Habbakuk 2.3

“For the vision is for the appointed time; but at the end it will speak and not lie.

Though it tarries, wait for it because it will surely come, it will not tarry.”

God does things in His appointed time.

He brings His people out of barren situations at the appointed time.

We are to stand on His promises until the answer comes.

Sometimes the answer comes with startling speed and we are surprised to receive it so quickly and at other times it may take years or centuries.

We need to stand in faith.

Abraham and Hannah, Moses were given promises that took time to come to pass.

Abraham was told to leave his country and that God would lead him to the promised land.

He was told that God would give him children, but he had to wait until he was 90 years old to see it come to pass.

Hannah prayed for years for a child.

God was faithful in the end and brought it to pass and used them to bless the world.

God is a God of the big picture, which we can now see.

Luke 1.68-69

The incarnation of Yeshua intensifies the God of Israel.

Yeshua intensifies the covenant blessings and promises God gave to Israel.

His promises still stand, He is the same yesterday, today and forever.

God gave us the Messiah and the Messiah gives us back to the God of Israel.

Psalm 41.13

Thank Yehovah (Messiah pre-Incarnate) Elohim (the Living Word, the Many Powered) of Israel through all eternity!
Amen and amen!

Psalm 121 I look up toward the mountains.
    Where can I find help?
My help comes from Yehovah (Messiah pre-Incarnate),
the maker of heaven and earth.
He will not let you fall.
Your guardian will not fall asleep.
Indeed, the Guardian of Israel never rests or sleeps.
Yehovah (Messiah pre-Incarnate) is your guardian.
Yehovah (Messiah pre-Incarnate) is the shade over your right hand.
The sun will not beat down on you during the day,
nor will the moon at night.
Yehovah (Messiah pre-Incarnate) guards you from every evil.
    He guards your life.
Yahweh (Messiah pre-Incarnate) guards you as you come and go,
    now and forever.
